<p><strong>What will you do?</strong> <br />You might be:</p>
<ul>
<li>organising, planning, commissioning and maintaining production lines </li>
<li>applying new methods and processes to the way we work </li>
<li>investigating and sorting out production problems <br />making the most of resources and planning activities</li>
<li>co-ordinating projects </li>
<li>running meetings </li>
<li>spotting ways to reduce costs</li>
<li>managing budgets </li>
<li>liaising with R&D </li>
<li>training and supervising staff </li>
<li>meeting stringent safety standards. </li>

<p>As we work in flexible teams there'll also be scope to take on different roles that could lead to more commercial (sales/purchasing/marketing) responsibilities, or into general management.</p>
<p><strong>What do we look for?</strong> <br />You'll need at least 280 UCAS points plus a 2:1 Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical) that's accredited and which could lead to CEng or IEng. You should also be:</p>
<ul>
<li>highly analytical</li>
<li>keen to solve scientific and technical problems </li>
<li>able to put your points across clearly both face-to-face and in writing </li>
<li>good at planning, prioritising and managing your time </li>
<li>ready to challenge the status quo </li>
<li>good at collaborating with a wide range of people. </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What does the training cover?</strong> <br />Everything. After a week-long corporate induction at our Head Office with all our graduate recruits, you can look forward to:</p>
<ul>
<li>a thorough induction into your specific workplace </li>
<li>your own Mentor from the senior management team</li>
<li>a personal development plan </li>
<li>at least two different roles with clearly defined responsibilities </li>
<li>off-the-job training to boost your leadership skills and business knowledge </li>
<li>absorbing projects that will take you outside your function and comfort zone</li>
<li>on-the-job coaching from leaders </li>
<li>regular performance reviews linked to stretching objectives. </li>
</ul>
